Salton Sea northern river dike pics

Pretty disappointed; not many birds, swallows? were aplenty but that's it. Egrets, Herons a Cormorant, a small brown bird(white crowned Swallow?)...there WAS lots of chirping at the roadside bushes but that's all, the birds didn't come out. Mallards and Coots as well.

Moreover, there was an animal footprint, rather a fresh one, thought it was Mountain Lion's lol, so was cowered and after walking a bit toward the shore, gave it up and came back lol.

Anyway it was less impressive than LA river at Bette Davis, for sure. Underwhelming!

Next time I should try to find the route to the Northern Delta, or just go to the Sea proper.
