Salton Sea East/South

So, drove around the Lake.  Was it worth it? Eh...

Black-necked Stilts were especially prominent today.

Spotted an Osprey? eating its lunch! at the roadside in the Wister Waterfowl Management Area(mostly unpaved road, but please persist, drive to the end; you'll get rewarded by spotting some unusual? species).  And the 'density' of those Tree Swallows was enormous, had a brief panic attack, thinking of that Hitchcock movie 'Bird' lol.

Spotted a Long-billed Curlew? at Earthrise Spirulina Algae Farm, and on the way, spotted a Belted Kingfisher on the wire high above! Was delighted because it's one of my favorites :)

At the Rest Area(was it after or before Brawley lol), spotted a Phainopepla maybe.

Those were the highlights, and that's about it. Missed Cattle Call Park and Calipatria State Prison, but whatever.
