Birds at Eucalyptus?

Many guides and ebird sightings say many birds are found at eucalyptus trees; no shit.

It's too high, and haven't really seen ANY bird on those lol. Another birder and me stared at a couple of Eucalyptus trees at Hahamongna in the morning a few days ago, after being alerted by an ebird notice;

Continuing bird. Dark blue head, chest, sides with black-blue wings. No brown/rusty colors on wings. Dark beak. Good views with direct sunlight on bird. Found around 7am. West of the southern wooden/rusty walking bridge there is a path that descends and there are two eucalyptus trees on the west side of the path. Bird flew into the second eucalyptus, moved around for a couple minutes, then flew west. Lots of birds in both eucalyptus trees. Didn't expect to see the bird in this area because it has been seen near SE pond.

To no avail!

Maybe I'm not a good birder enough to SPOT those...anyway, no luck so far.
