Feb 15 Eaton Canyon Field Trip pics 1

Did well to attend it, since I didn't even know that the Equestrian area was so productive lol. And the route across the river, as well. Saw lots of birds including Cassin's Kingbird, Cooper's Hawk? Bushtit?, etc..
Was advised using a better binocular, such as Pentax 8*43, but that costs 700 dollars! And that's a cheaper one actually lol.  Well, since I'm lacking in funds..have to do with my 10 dollar bino! Haha. Still, should look into that one.

Thought a guide book arranged by bird color might be productive. I know arrangement by genus is the way to go, but still. For example, yellow birds, like.

Bird songs...some areas, there was a veritable riot! Beautiful...!  Real experts can distinguish species by just hearing to those songs! Even if you can't actually see those birds. :)

Laser pointer might be useful for pointing out birds..maybe lol, but would it frighten the birds.

 Lots of childrens! :)
Glad I parked on the street lol

 Cassin's Kingbird! Beautiful :)

Apparently hiking is pretty popular!
