"My hearing loss and increasing tinnitus developed unequally in both ears, causing me to lose the ability to tell direction of sound from side-to-side or up-and-down. This has not returned, possibly because the sound pickups are behind my ears. I can tell that a bird is singing, but not from where. It’s very frustrating."
