Reading crow books, and about the title, big deal lol.
I've seen a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron do exactly the same thing, at Almansor about a month ago. Well that bird was unusually bold, even approaching humans in anticipation of food lol(of course I didn't give it any of my lunch! Shouldn't feed wildlife).
Still, corvus species does seem to have unusually high intelligence; I did gain new respect for those birds after reading some books! Maybe should visit Hansen again to 'commune' with the Common Ravens, lol.
