Morning birding and it was rather nice; not too many, but still
Heard No. Mockingbirds and Spotted Towhees, later saw ST perched on the wire.
1 WSJ high on a tree?
Crows, Doves..
3 Parrots at the usual Equestrian Ground, perched on the wire.
And the highlights; Hooded Oriol at Oak Trail!! So close but couldn't get a good pic, it was very frisky, just couldn't stay long enough for me to take pics lol. Met PAS Chilao and EC bird trip leader and a companion so exchanged greetings!
And only a bit later at the row of boulders near the Oak Trail, 4 Cal. Quails!
Not bad at all. Will upload pics later in the evening.
