Arrived at Chicago safe and sound!

What with crappy Brown Line coming so seldom at Clark/Lake, etc., arrived almost 2 hours later after touchdown -_-

Signs were so good, even a child can navigate.

First impression: pinched! Houses, escalators at O'hare..
Subway even had a revolving door!

4:15pm, already traffic at the highway but of course Blue Line didn't care lol.
Train was loud! LA Metro is better, but can't complain. It got real exciting riding the Brown line: got literally sandwiched between 2 girls!

Oriole Ave: a good portent!

Finally detrained at DePaul, and after checking in, went straight to North Pond at Lincoln Park, of course lol, wield ing my bino.

An elderly lady was interested so had a chat and she's from my town...!!! What serendipity!

Dragging my tired feet, circled the pond and was impressed, to say the least. Already late(6:17pm start), and gloomy after the rain, but saw at least 10 species of warblers lol. Total about 25 species in an hour!

Why is it raining tomorrow, ughhj...hope it clears in the afternoon, at the least.
