Tantrum; I need to be pampered

Maybe shoulda participated in Hahamongna bird trip(haven't done once lol, so far); Virginia Warbler and Indigo Bunting is reported on ebird!  Instead headed further West, to see Mute Swan at Malibu Lagoon and Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron at Del Rey Lagoon(also to visit Ballona Creek, which is normally closed. Spotted Says Phoebe again), MS was spotted easily(also those cute Snowy Plovers!, Common Tern was another surprise find! Possibly my first?), but YCNH wasn't there, dunno, maybe I took a pic at Ballona Freshwater Marsh, too blurry though.  Failed to spot Wandering Tattlers again, just Surfbirds at the 1st jetty.  Playa Del Rey- Ballona area really is extensive; especially the Freshwater Marsh and the adjacent field, Loggerhead Shrike and Western Meadowlark are reported(Need GOOD scope though lol).

Today's OC trip was not very satisfactory. Really, you don't really have to visit all those small parks; just Bolsa Chica & HCP will suffice. Don't need to visit UNB either, well maybe you can watch Black Skimmers closer at the Eastbluff drive(above the Bay, near Jamboree rd), but that's all really.

Anyway, my tantrum is, I'm tired of birding alone lol.  My 'skill' isn't getting any better, need expert's help(hence pampering lol, need them to find those elusive birds for me haha). Really should participate in various bird trips from now on, especially HCP is a must; all those warblers, Hooded and Black & Gray, etc. Even an Oregon Junco is reported lol. If not on the 19th, then the week later at 27th or something.

And really should participate in Hahamongna trip by Pasadena Audubon next month as well.

Was infuriated that Yellow-Breasted Chat was reported at...Harriet Wieder Park!! God..I really need to see or hear that one, since it's a summer species; Bell's Vireo too, for that matter. Hutton's Vireo, Wrentit..not sure I've seen those either.   Warblers are really tricky, since they're SO active; really no chance to take pic with a cheap camera lol, and the variety is...for example Virginia and Nashville, looks so similar lol(of course Empidonax Flycatchers are even harder to tell apart).

From February, got about 200 species methink, still not very good; well, my hearing is bad, so maybe hard to do very well, but really need to learn those songs more..rather frustrating, by now.
