11/25 San Elijo Lagoon; Northern Waterthrush pics

Too far so not good

9:04-9:10am

 First the view when I arrived at 7:05am. Partially flooded thanks to the rain overnight; quite promising for spotting NOWA which likes to forage around the water

 After 2 hrs, finally!!! Bobbing the tail, unmistakable; was in plain view for more than 5 minutes! Lifted leaves with its bill foraging.
