GHOW and Barn Owl spotted at Apollo Park; Pellets, lots of it, were distributed throughout the park. Didn't know finding roosting owls were this hard; the only other roosting owl(not including night owling) I've seen was the same species dozing at the palm tree, at Thousand Palms(Indian Wells area). These two owls were well hidden in pine trees; pretty much invisible to casual or novice birders like me. My first Barn Owl in a natural setting.
