Big Morongo Canyon Preserve was fantastic! Recommend to everybody, the trail is so nicely attended; lots of areas are covered in wooden panels! Such a pleasant walk, explored most of the area.
First spotted a Western Bluebird methink, then later found a hotspot on the Mesquit trail(on the right side from the Kiosk) where I spotted Western Scrup Jay, Cal. Thrasher, and Stellar's Jay(or was is Phainopepla?) in one setting!(a tall brush).
Later met a Birding group, and gladly signed a visitor log?; they said more the signature, more funding! Thanks to them, spotted an Oak Titmouse as well!! Definitely the highlight of my day, since I haven't spotted it at all methink, around my area.
Lots of vultures around here. Turkey Vultures at Morongo, Kestrel and Hawks at Oak Glen(actually think I spotted a Kestrel today at Morongo too). At the parking lot of Morongo found Scrub Jay again(quite abundant here), and Yellow-throated Vireo too methink. Humminbgirds are common here, too, not to mention pigeons(I don't mention pigeons and Coots since they're SO abundant lol)
