Mystery bird at PCC parking lot

About 6pm, right beside Hill Pasadena Library branch, at PCC parking lot, this small bird mobbed a bigger Crow and sit upon the lamp post; thought it was a Mockingbird but not sure; and where's the tail? Weird...
