 Not many birds here, but got;

 An Osprey perching on a wire, and a Great Blue Heron

 Is this a Red Duck or a Lesser Scaup

 LOON!!!! Definitely. Look at the size of it, especially the pic below. Too far though, so not sure which, but the birders I met later at 4pm told me they just spotted a Pacific; so this could be it?

 First the view when I arrived at 7:05am. Partially flooded thanks to the rain overnight; quite promising for spotting NOWA which likes to forage around the water

 After 2 hrs, finally!!! Bobbing the tail, unmistakable; was in plain view for more than 5 minutes! Lifted leaves with its bill foraging.
